The Man in Galloway Bay

A man lost in Galloway Bay,

Cried out in a very loud bray,

“Please come rescue me, hungry sharks can’t agree,

Am I breakfast or dinner entree?”

  5. Those limericks remind me of my childhood, of those books, especially for children, warning us with gruesome sounding rhymes caricatures to behave or else, bad things would happen to us. We could not get enough of them, the more dramatic the better. But then came along the political correctness school, claiming such texts were traumatising the children.
