Hello, friends!
I apologize for the scanty posts recently, but I’ve had so many errands to run and things to do, and then some unexpected problems came up. You know – Sh*t Happens! And it happens to everyone.
I’m off to California to visit my daughter and to inter my father’s ashes in a military cemetery there. California is definitely not Wonderland! Those days are long gone! I’m dreading the traffic, the crowds of people, the smog, and the $6 – $7 a gallon gas prices!
See you next week.

My heartfelt condolences to you on your father’s passing away. It’s a huge loss that I also went through. May his soul rest in peace. Have a safe journey.

Safe travels to you Dawn. Yes girl, shit happens, but then we just have to flush it down the drain, and move forward! This too shall pass! Cheers and find some enjoyment in your trip, although it is bittersweet that you have to enter your father’s ashes in the military cemetery, we thank him for his service to our country as we stand in a virtual salute to him. Take care! 🤗🙏🏼🥰💖😊

If I understand everything correctly, then your father died, or it is a reburial. However, Dawn, I am very sorry for you.
Come back safe and sound. See you, Linda

He died in 2020, but I waited until the COVID restrictions were lifted in CA to have his ashes buried. I appreciate your condolences, Linda.

One thing I’ve learned, Cindy – driving on the freeway is like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it, no matter how harrowing the experience! Thank you for your kind words.
