I’m happy to share that my poem, “Magic Moment,” has been published today on Chewers & Masticadores. Thank you, J. Re Crivello, for publishing it! Please visit Chewers and show them your support.
I’m late posting this because my husband is sick. He suffers from a chronic respiratory condition, and the high pollen count is affecting his lungs (and mine, too.) Avoiding a trip to the ER is my top priority today.
Magic Moment
by Dawn Pisturino
Lost in the darkness of night,
Hearts pound fiercely side by side,
Beating a rhythm of love in our ears.
It is a magic moment,
When two lovers speak an unwritten language. . .

Thank you for visiting! Have a beautiful Sunday.

Lovely poem. Hope hope you two can hold out against the pollen. It’s a tough time of year, with all those horny pollen floating around screwing our sinuses and respiratory systems.

Sorry to hear about your husband’s respiratory condition, Dawn. I sure hope ER can be avoided. The high pollen count is not helpful at all. I have had it in new condition since November last year. It’s under control. Someone mentioned annual bronchitis. I sure hope my condition won’t turn into an annual situation.
I’m happy about your poetry publication, Dawn. ☺️

Hi Dawn, I’m sorry to hear about your husband. My son can’t go outdoors when the pollen count is very high. He has chronic asthma. Your poem is beautiful.
