It’s nice to meet you, too. Your haikus are wonderful! A difficult art form, but you’ve mastered it.

I am the 7th great granddaughter if Samuel Skelton. I was thrilled to find you blog! I lost my mother in my early 30’s and began researching my family history, to help myself through the grieving process. I would love to hear/know any other info you may have about my grandfather or his descendants!

It seems my 2nd cousin, 11x removed, is the Reverend Samuel Skelton, first Pastor of the Puritan First Church of Salem. And Poet Sir John Skelton is my 12th great-grandfather. At 71 I’m trying to get as much ancestry work done as I can.

Are you on Ancestry.com? That would be the easiest and quickest way to get that information.

Thanks, but I already have that information. I contacted you only because I found it interesting we share a common ancestor.

Hello Dawn, I was looking over your page and I really like it! I am also super impressed by your work! I was curious about the design of your page. What (blue)print did you use to design your blog? I want to change the design of my blog page, so I am exploring options. I really like the organization of yours and am interested in possibly getting something similar for mine. Thank you immensely for your help, Dawn!

It’s just one of WordPress’s standard templates. It’s very easy to navigate. I would look at the templates they are currently offering. Thank you for the feedback!

Many thanks for taking your time to visiting my blog. I am really enjoying your blog. And you are from one of my fav regions in the world – Arizona, the wonder place where the Grand Canyon rises as a wonderland (and adjoining Utah). I drove around the whole circuit back in the late 80’s. Happy rhyming.
